Have a 14 year old who’s eager to get behind the wheelÉ
- To alleviate the "yelling and screaming" that usually goes on between parents and teens during the 1st few times behind the wheel...our suggestion is to enroll your kids into drivers ed first. We guarantee that your teen will be driving 80% independently, without the fervor, fuss and frustration that comes with the territory. All student driver cars have a passenger brake, student driver sign and 6D-endorsement insurance. Everything which makes teaching driving a little easier and stress-free.
Teach your teens to drive safely driving during the 1 year waiting period!
- The government of Alberta mandates that a teen must wait for a full year before driving behind the wheel without adult supervision. This waiting period is a great opportunity for your teen drivers to be supervised for one year before they head out on the roads alone. This ensures your teens safety on the road, and builds your teens confidence behind the wheel.
Encourage learning from observation!
- We learn 50% of driving by observation. Encourage your teen to pay attention to road signs, intersections, turning maneauvers etc. Encouraging observation while driving with you, will maximize the students ability to learn more difficult scenarios when driving with an instructor, and minimize the time spent covering the basics.
The Difference
Student A) 10hr of driving teaching which foot to drive with, what a 4-way stop means, how your are yeilding to when making a left turn etc.
Student B) 10hr of driving covering merging, deerfoot, downtown, traffic circles etc.
